Get to Know Our CEO & Founder,

Darren White is married to the love of his life, Rebecca White. Together, they raised three incredible children and are now the proud grandparents of three amazing grandchildren. Darren often reminds us that this is his WHY.

Darren was raised by Delbert and Mary White in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. His father pastored churches for more than 40 years, laying the foundation for Darren’s core values: Faith, Family, and Business—in that order. Darren believes strongly in keeping life in perspective: God first, family a close second, and then giving everything you have to building your business.

Before entering the insurance industry, Darren spent 22 years in public education as a teacher, wrestling coach, and administrator. During that time, he developed invaluable skills in team building, teaching, mentoring, relationship development, discipline, creative problem-solving, and—most importantly—building champions. These lessons became the blueprint for what would later evolve into Agents First Insurance.

Darren transitioned from being an independent agent to becoming a top producer and eventually a Vice President at his previous IMO. However, he grew frustrated with the industry’s model, which emphasized constantly recruiting new agents in hopes that only a few would succeed. While attending a Top Producer cruise in the Bahamas, Darren had a pivotal realization: the industry needed something different. Within two months, that vision became a reality—and Agents First Insurance was born.

On January 1, 2024, Agents First Insurance was officially launched with one mission in mind: Save the Agents.

We began by assembling a roundtable of highly successful producing agents and experienced business leaders and asked one critical question:
